Happy Valentine’s Day… or not.Who’s the wise guy who booked Paul van Dyk to perform at Showbox SoDo on February 13? Germany’s impeccably dressed DJ is known for transforming otherwise tame venues into rampant raves, his hypnotic trance music inspiring listeners to engage in copious amounts of ecstasy, cocaine, and dancing. Now that’s a hell of a hangover–the kind you can’t recover from in time for your romantic (albeit often obligatory) Valentine’s Day plans . I foresee Seattle’s techno junkies having to deal with some majorly pissed off boyfriends and girlfriends on February 14.Of course, if you’re lucky single, there’s no issue. You can get your tickets here. Act quickly, as the show is bound to sell out.
