Yes, you can subscribe via iTunes!Chow Nasty Nectar Lounge, 9 p.m. $8“Ooh! Ungawa! Baby’s got the Power!” Perverting that old cheerleader’s chant is the least of the ridiculous musical moves on Chow Nasty’s full-length, Super (Electrical) Recordings. The San Francisco trio of dudes has apparently been rocking the party scene there for years, “like hot oil on a stripper pole.” On their album, produced by Peanut Butter Wolf, singer/guitarist Damon Harris sounds like B-b-b-b-blues Explosion man Jon Spencer if he had Ian Svenonius’ dirty imagination. Pep Love chills on “Floor is Bouncin’” with some absolutely filthy rhymes, and tracks like “Back on the Streets” and “Thick Shake” have the bongos and funk horns that have already infiltrated indie scenes via !!! and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Seeing Chow Nasty’s mojo released at Nectar will be cool, but who’s got the SoDo loft for an afterparty? With Velella Velella, James Pants, the Gomorran Social Aid and Pleasure Club. — RACHEL SHIMP
