From the New York Times:The rock musician Amanda Palmer says she is giving a gift to her fans by inviting those who play strings, saxophone and brass to join her on stage during a tour. Joy and beer are the recompense.”We will feed you beer, hug/high-five you up and down (pick your poison), give you merch and thank you mightily for adding to the big noise we are planning to make,” the Web invitation reads.Amanda Palmer’s recent Kickstarter campaign raised $1.2 million dollars for the recording and touring of her next album, which will presumably cover a hell of a lot of unpaid saxophonists.
