From the message board of USC Events, which has thrown the Freaknight Halloween party for the past 11 years, see below. Where will all the DJs end up? It’s too bad their info line is disconnected! The only tip I have is that MSTRKRFT will likely play Electric Avenue at CHAC tonight. If you see Photek in Belltown, buy him a drank! Two days prior to Freaknight 11, the venue at which the event was scheduled canceled the agreement. We immediately sought an alternative venue that would accommodate the large number of people Freaknight is known to draw. We believed we had a viable venue and it was our intent to provide our loyal followers with the outstanding event they have come to expect from USC. Arrangements could not be finalized with the subsequent venue, leaving us with the difficult decision to cancel the Freaknight. We are deeply disappointed that it has come to this, as we enjoy promoting Freaknight as much as you enjoy participating in it. Almost all of the artists scheduled to perform at Freaknight are in town, and will be performing at other venues. Please visit www.uscevents.com, www.myspace.com/uscevents, or call the infoline at 888.221.7491 for up to the minute information. USC Events would like to thank everyone for 11 years of continued support, and we are appreciative of your patience during the last few days. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. All tickets sales are being refunded. If you purchased presale tickets, please contact the outlet at which you purchased the ticket for a refund.Any questions may be addressed to info@uscevents.com.Thank you, USC Events
