From the Department of Bad News: Funhouse owner Brian Foss woke up to the news Saturday morning that someone had tried to steal the creepy clown mascot that adorned the roof of his downtown punk club. “On the morning of Saturday May 1st between 3:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., the Funhouse clown was vandalized,” wrote Foss in a statement on Monday. “Someone got on to our roof and loosened the bolts to our iconic sign and down went the clown. Looks like they tried to drag it away but gave up by the McDonalds parking lot. The head is too damaged to put back on the roof. If anyone has information about this please contact us. It’s a sad day but we will be replacing our clown with a new mascot sometime down the road. We’re still trying to figure out what we’re going to do.”Shame on you, whoever you are. If you have information about the jerks who did this, please contact Foss via myfatassproductions@yahoo.com.
