From Ramiro’s MySpace RamiroA boatload of mixes by local electronic music jocks were recently posted on the Uniting Souls site. Deepvibez, Jeromy Nail and Ramiro are all representing with their fluid techniques and dance floor-friendly soundscapes–though Ramiro surprised this listener with his live set on C-89.5 FM’s “The Vortex.” The soul-centric house swami went down and dirty-ish with a fidgety mix interspersed with moments of sublime minimalism, Latin rhythms, and ending with a strange spoken word clip. Very nice.
