Expect long delays. If you’re headed out to the Gorge right now for the three day festival that is Sasquatch, just know that you can expect to hurry up and wait. I-90 was fairly clear four hours ago when we got on the road heading out this way, but once we pulled off the highway, the wait just to get to the campsite was over an hour two hours ago. It will most likely be worse by now.But don’t let that discourage you. If you’re still planning to come today, take off now and you’ll be fine. And if you’re not planning to arrive until Sunday/Monday, you’re all set. The bulk of the traffic nightmares are happening today and on Monday after 7 p.m. In between then, you’re all set.Oh..and Sasquatch Realization number two is that if you see a white explorer anywhere on the road, it’s most likely an unmarked police vehicle. They don’t have an overly oppressive presence like police often have at other festivals, but just keep a look out for white explorers as they’re pulling people over at will. Here in the media tent, two reporters are already complaining about the speeding tickets they got, so be forewarned.
