Several years ago I attended the NAMM Show — an industry trade show in Anaheim — and was introduced to Mr. Thigpen over dinner by some mutual friends. The next day, he walked me around the floor of the show for the entire day. He introduced me to every player who walked up to get a word in with him, told me story after story, and encouraged me to pursue a low-carb diet. It was incredibly gracious of him, and I’ll never forget it.Thanks, Mr. Thigpen.
