Taking our society’s caffeine addiction to its not entirely illogical conclusion, the Coffee Messiah literally worships the god of the organic java bean. It also takes quite a shine to experimental music, open mikes, and free-form jazz collectivesand with a little room left on the altar, vegan doughnuts, organic juice and smoothies, and healthy snacks are praised as well. Don’t drop by on a Tuesday, because it closes early, but on Wednesday nights you can experience the experimental- music night hosted by Cognitive Dissidents. On Thursdays the house collective, Monktail Creative Music Concern, blesses all within shouting distance with their jammy jazz sessions.
