Carla Bley, the wiley pianist and arranger who’s a key part of Charlie Haden’s Liberation Music Orchestra, isn’t going to be able to make it to the group’s Earshot show on Friday, due to health issues, Earshot says. (See her and Charlie above.) That’s a shame but definitely not a reason to skip the concert. Piano duties will be filled by Alan Broadbent, a moody lyrical player who’s worked for years in Haden’s Quartet West. When: 8 p.m. Fri. Oct. 31Where: Town Hall (1119 Eighth Ave.)Tickets: $25-32
