Brigitte HenryCanadian singer-songwriter Patrick Watson’s latest album, Adventures In Your Own Backyard, was recently named one of NPR’s favorite records of 2012 so far. But that’s hardly the highest accolade Watson has achieved in his career– he’s twice been a finalist for the prestigious Polaris Prize, winning it for his 2007 debut, Close to Paradise. Tonight, the Montreal-based Watson brings his sultry take on cabaret pop to the Columbia City Theater.Watch a video of his Tiny Desk Concert after the jump.Patrick Watson plays Columbia City Theater tonight with Cat Martino.
