Beginning tonight, Cario is holding fourth-annual edition of Expo 89, a four-day mini-festival that will feature music, film, and art. Tonight’s kick-off party (featuring artwork, a jewelry exhibition, and short films) is heavy on the latter, but starting tomorrow, the Capitol Hill art gallery/music venue will play host to local artists such as O.C. Notes, Flexions, Witch Gardens, Stephanie, Secret Colors, and Tiny Vipers. Tickets for the shows, which run through the weekend, cost $8 apiece. For more information, visit Cario’s website.
