Because Brandon Flowers wasn’t even there! Some overzealous fans admonished me yesterday for inferring that the sole reason I wanted to attend The Killers’ after party at Capitol Hill’s War Room on Wednesday night was so I could attempt and hook up with the band’s dapper frontman. They also couldn’t believe I refused to pay the $5 cover to enter the party. I’m gonna go ahead and say I made the right choice. Had I actually paid the cover and waited only to meet the three dudes in the band whose names I don’t know (nor care to know), I would have been royally pissed off. Seriously, who the hell wants to go to a Killers after party that doesn’t include Brandon Flowers? And how come he couldn’t bother to make an appearance? I wonder if he was perhaps too busy searching the streets of Seattle for me…
