Barboza, not to be confused with Capt. Barbossa.Barboza, the new 200-capacity club the owners of Neumos have long been planning to put underneath their club on Pike, is opening on April 18, and feature two straight nights of the gruesome local rock duo, My Goodness, followed by a sleeper set from Portland’s Horse Feathers on April 20. Other bands on the calendar include Brent Amaker, Yuni in Taxco, Feral Children, and other local bands not quite big enough to fill the room upstairs, but will get plenty cozy in the more intimate venue. All the details can be found on the club’s web site: thebarboza.com.
