Back in the mid-’90s, before drum and guitar duos were the coolest thing around, Lisa Orth and Dan Paulus formed Parini. They took their name from Diane Parini, then the booker for the Breakroom (now Chop Suey) and they made a beautiful racket. Rob Hursh from the now-defunct cable access show, 29 Live, recently unearthed this footage of the band playing his show:
