After announcing its return from a 10 year hiatus, Olympia-bred legends Sleater-Kinney offered up “Bury Our Friends” as fans’ first taste of their hotly anticipated new album No Cities to Love.

Today, after finishing up a Reddit AMA that revealed everything from the power trio’s favorite cookies to why they don’t like bass, they surprised fans by releasing another new track from No Cities to Love, a swagger-filled rocker entitled “Surface Envy,” that features an incredible carnivalesque guitar line and the return of Corin Tucker’s banshee howl.
