A couple weeks ago, when I finally broke down and cut the grass for the first time of the season, I realized that there’s a certain genre of music associated with the grass/pit-stained pastime. It’s a genre that’s topped off by Led Zeppelin and Tom Petty, and helps give the mower and extra push up the hill.Josh Kerns and I will be discussing this important genre — and breaking down the summer’s concert season — at 3 p.m. Sunday on Seattle Sounds, our weekly show on KIRO 97.3 FM.You won’t want to miss it! But, if you do, you can hear it online at MyNorthwest.com/seattlesounds.
