SPOTTED INSIDE: Crocodile Cafe, 2200 2nd, 441-5611
NAME: David Wilson
AGE: 34
WHERE ARE YOU FROM? Pennsylvania, about an hour north of Pittsburgh.
WHAT DO YOU DO? I’ve been the head chef at the Crocodile for two and a half months.
HOW DO YOU LIKE IT SO FAR? So far, so good. Nothing frustrating about it. The busy show nights are great.
WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO BANDS REQUEST? We had Supersuckers in here, and it was grilled cheese, fries, and nachos. They’re beer drinkers. For Lloyd Cole, we put out some fruit and cheese and chips and salsa. We treat them good, and they treat us good.
WHAT’S THE BEST ITEM ON THE MENU? I’m tasting for the new menu in about 15 minutes, actually. Breakfasts rock. Anything with tofu.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE RECENT CROC SHOW? I’m a punk rocker, so Zeke were great. Supersuckers. Nebula played here yesterday. They were cool.
