Thaiku in the Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood is turning two in its new location. To celebrate, they are offering a set of anniversary specials including dishes such as Yum Kanom Jeen and Kanom Jeen Noodles for long life! Happy hour runs daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. bringing diners $2 off bar food, cocktails and $1 off beer.

Hungry diners will be happy to learn that Sur 16 has opened in the space formerly occupied by the Bagel Deli. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner and features Mexican classics including Ceviche, Tacos, Tortadas and Enchiladas. Beer, wine and cocktails are also compulsory and available.

If you haven’t made plans for Valentine’s Day yet then wait no more. McCracken and Tough’s Spur Gastropub is offering up a six-course meal featuring dishes such as: Foie Gras with winter radish, vanilla and kumquat, Sablefish with sunchoke, meyer lemon and chicory and Wagyu Zabuton with salsify, potato and pear. And last but not least, The venerable Canterbury Ale House on Capitol Hill is offering up its very own V-day feast with a four-course meal prepared by Chef Brendan O’Farrell.
