For those of you that love your sloppy biscuits for breakfast, lunch, dinner or the fourth meal, you’ll be happy to know that Biscuit Bitch will be opening its second location next week in Belltown at 2303 3rd Ave. Fortunately, there will be more space for regulars to get their Easy Bitches as well as for the walking dead who inhabit the area late in the night. In a daring move, opening night will be March 17th; no word if they’ll serve a green eggs and corned beef biscuit but who knows. Hopefully they’ll have signed up a Bitch Bouncer for that evening as well.

With all the news about people getting harassed for simply offering hugs on a busy street downtown you might be needed a spiritual lift. Maybe what the world really needs is more donut shops to cheer them up? Luckily you can find a new one in White Center where Mardi Gras Donuts will help you celebrate and perhaps regain faith in humanity at the same time. The West Seattle Blog reports that New Orleans-born owner Mike Williams will be serving up hot beignets as well as several other varieties of donuts. You can find him at 9828 16th SW between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. every day. And bring cash for your goods as that’s all that is accepted right now – and get there early because they’ve been selling out.

What’s better than celebrating a saint by drinking to excess and then having a ready-made hotel room to walk into and pass out in? Not much. And so the folks up north at Semiahmoo Resort are doing it twice – on March 13th and again on the 17th at Packers Oyster Bar. For $39 a person diners will get their fill of corned beef and cabbage with Chuckanut green beer and a heavy dose of Danny Boy from Irish trio GalloBlast. Then wake up with a fuzzy head and hit the links where once I almost nailed a deer dashing across the fairway at about 200 yards out.
