Belltown haunt Belle + Whete European Kitchen is hosting a dinner with California brewer Lagunitas Brewing Company on Wednesday April 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Chef Stew Navarre will be serving a four-course meal featuring Lagunitas pairings along with Skylar Ceserone from the brewery who will discuss each beer. The highlight of the evening: Lagunitas Sucks served in brown paper bags with Dungeness Crab and Shrimp Rolls, Cheddar Pork Rinds with “Hot Sauce”, and Venison Corn Dogs. Tickets are $55/pp and can be reserved online.
The world needs more Food and Sh*t like that. So Chef/DJ Prometheus Brown brings you the greatest hits this upcoming Friday and Saturday April 10th and 11th in the form of an eight-course tasting menu at Bloom in Ballard. You’ll get dishes such as Kinilaw na Geoduck, Kawaii Rib Loco Moco and Massaman Oxtail Kare Kare among others. Seating begins at 6 p.m. and $48 gets you all the goodness. And if you are ready to pretend it’s summer then head to Pennyroyal downtown where every Sunday is Tiki Sunday. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. you’ll get fruity cocktails and Caribbean food specials such as Flaming Spam, Ceviche and Glazed Pork Ribs. In addition, each Sunday will feature a guest bartender from renowned Seattle watering holes beginning with Tommy Stearns of Rumba and Canon on April 12th. So bring your ukelele’s, grass skirts and coconut shell bikini tops for what is sure to be an interesting time.
