We’ve had a little fun this week on Grillaxin, fixating on the comfy shoes worn by Lauri Carter, the new chef at Lecosho, and Ben Frey, the house butcher at Local 360.Today’s featured feet represent extreme comfort in the form of Birkenstocks. Can you say ahhhh? Actually these are knock-off Birkies from Shoes for Crews, worn by a pastry chef who has worked Campagne, Macrina, and Flying Apron before landing with the greatest of ease at her current spot. Here’s another hint: She likes Cheetos! Meet Brittany Holmberg from Matt’s in the Market. Thanks to chef Brittany for this recipe for sorta-savory cookies that go swell with a cheese plate or an ice cream that’s not super-sweet.
