Twin Peaks buffs will recognize the above photo as eerily reminiscent of the Black Lodge. It’s actually a shot of the parlor area outside the latrines at Gainsbourg, Rocket Queen columnist Hannah Levin’s hot new French-inspired restaurant-lounge in Greenwood. (I never thought I’d use the words “hot,” “French,” and “Greenwood” in the same sentence, but there it is.)

The similarity between the Black Lodge and Gainsbourg’s parlor is no accident. In fact, the establishment will begin hosting weekly “Twin Peaks Tuesdays” beginning February 10. Only one hour-long episode will be shown per night, beginning promptly at 10 p.m. Thankfully, they just got their hard liquor license; David Lynch cannot be properly enjoyed without some sort of chemical assistance, even though the man himself eschews all but transcendental meditation and hot, black joe.
