Today, I’m going to attempt to make THESE Rice Krispie treat eggs from Bouchon Bakery (via the kitchn). Gorgeous, right? OK, is it just me, or do you see nary a Krispie in that photo? They look like regular eggs with sprinkles and nut meal stuck to them, totally smooth and white. Can you spot a Krispie? Believe me, I looked. I’m calling bullshit on Thomas Keller and the photo stylist right now, mostly so I don’t feel like a failure when my eggs end up looking like muppet turds.
