Think this guy is prepared to discuss the nuances of U.S.-Congo diplomacy? If one were to design the antithesis of an NPR listener, it’d probably turn out a lot like Jason Sheehan, SW’s beloved/hated chain-smoking, whiskey-swilling, taco-gobblin’, father-of-one (with another on the way!) food critic. That hasn’t seemed to deter KUOW-FM (94.9), which has booked Sheehan to discuss the paperback release of his critically-acclaimed food-industry memoir, Cooking Dirty, live at 12:40 p.m. today. Sheehan’s prone to the occasional burst of profanity, which should make for must-listen radio. And the book in question isn’t bad either.
