The Stumbling Goat Bistro (6722 Greenwood Ave N.), once known for its local and organic dishes, is making a reappearance in the lives of earth-lovers once more. The restaurant just reopened for business with a whole new menu by executive chef Joshua Theilen and pastry chef Jens Melin. Their new menu features delights such as the braised rabbit and pappardelle, as well as cocktails like a chile-lime margarita.

West Seattle Blog reported that Angelina’s Trattoria (2311 California Ave. SW) has finally been claimed by a husband-wife team after the restaurant went on the market more than a year ago. Allison Rich and her husband plan to keep the restaurant’s name, along with its Italian bent, although for those who aren’t so thrilled about saucy noodle dishes, the menu will offer a “NOT so Italian” menu.

According to the West Seattle Blog, Brickyard BBQ (2310 California Ave. SW) is expected to open in the Admiral neighborhood soon, although co-owner Don Kriley can’t put his thumb on the exact date. It could be next week — or in three. Just keep those Wet-Naps handy.

The West Seattle Herald reported the the Ship Wreck, a tavern in the old TNT space (4210 S.W. Admiral Way), has applied for a new liquor license. Replacing the space that was originally planned for a Trader Joe’s, the Ship Wreck’s ales may ease the shakes for those set on stocking their pantries full of Three-Buck Chuck.

Slowly but surely, Chow Bistro seems to be showing progress near E. 12th and Madison, reports the Capitol Hill Seattle blog. Meanwhile, nearby Tavern Law is opening today.

Not too much is known yet about Bar 19, which Central District News says will open soon on the corner of 19th and Yesler. The owners, reports the blog, are hoping to foster a simple, low-key atmosphere where businessmen and women can unwind, although not for too long — the bar is not due to stay open past 11 p.m.
