The Muffo. You gotta get there early. That’s it. We got there at 11:08 a.m., and two guys with their sandwiches told me they showed up at 10 a.m., a full hour before the doors opened. They said that by 10:30 there were 20 people in line. Considering the line was a good 15-20 feet out the door when we arrived, I estimated it would be 30 minutes by the time I got my Muffo sammy. In fact, it took just 22 minutes. But by the time we left, the line was well over 45 minutes long. Get their early to ensure what you want is still available (things were already being scratched off the menu before noon).p.s. Salumi’s closed next week for “family vacations.” Tomorrow’s the last day to get a sammy until Tuesday July 7.
