The Crumpet Shop reopens today!The Crumpet Shop in Pike Place Market reopens at 7 a.m. today, following a five-month hiatus during which it underwent repairs, according to Seattle Met. Among the beloved establishment’s biggest supporters: SW’s Gavin Borchert, who swears it’s the best bakery in the city, and super saxophonist Kenny G, who gets his crumpet fix there whenever he’s in town.In other news, PhinneyWood.com reports that a family-friendly pizzeria is scheduled to open at 7217 Greenwood Ave. N. by the end of August. The Ridge will feature pies named after local businesses, sandwiches, and salads, as well as a full bar.
