The Bellevue outposts of Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi, conjoined by

The Bellevue outposts of Boom Noodle and Blue C Sushi, conjoined by a cantilevered lounge that hovers over both spaces, asks you to name that space for $200. The bar serves food from both restaurants, has Xboxes, and reminds me of those lounges you get to chill in to escape the rabble at car shows. Submit your ideas to nameourbar@bluecsushi.com by Friday, May 29th. The winning name will be announced on June 1st and will receive $200 in gift cards good for either restaurant. In other news, it’s happy hour all night at Boom Noodle, both locales. Slurp.10% Catering just opened a showroom next to Machiavelli’s on Pine Street, in what used to be that white, Alessi knockoff store that would play bad dance music every time I walked by. Now 10% Catering is upping the ante to bad, four years ago, Euro-club music. A full service caterer (services listed here), I can’t bring myself to walk in and inquire as to the purpose of this particular space, partly because it barely has room for the couch, counter, and reader board (??), partly because there’s always a guy in a chef coat staring listlessly out the window. I know I’ve had, and enjoyed, their food before, but is there that much foot traffic in party planning?
