The Ballard News-Tribune reports that Kathy Casey’s Dish D’Lish is soon to close its Ballard Avenue location. This is bad news for Casey, but might actually incite a street party among other Ballard proprietors, whom Casey and her husband, John, rubbed the wrong way a few years back due to their treatment of Conor Byrne, the Irish pub that once was a tenant of the Caseys. Conor Byrne ended up trouncing the Caseys in court, and the Caseys cut that building loose not long thereafter. Casey’s Food Studios will also move off the Ave. to smaller digs in Salmon Bay, the BNT reports.
