Spanish tapas bar Txori in Belltown is closing its doors on April 19, according to the Seattle Times. (That gives you two more weeks to indulge in their savory stuffed squid and fried bread.) Owner Carolin Messier says she hopes to re-open the restaurant when the economy improves. Taking over the space will be another tapas bar called Pintxo, which bares no relation to Txori. For those interested, Txori will host its last six-course, family-style dinner this evening at 6 p.m. The cost is $45. To reserve, call 205-9771.
