R.I.P. Casuelita’s Caribbean Restaurant Popular farmers’ market vendor Patty Pan Cafe has opened a new store at 2310 East Madison Street, according to Central District News. The vegetarian-friendly menu features fresh-made soups, salads, and sandwiches. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.In less upbeat news, Belltown People reports that Casuelita’s Caribbean Restaurant at 81 Vine Street is no more. The establishment served the only Bahamas, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico-inspired cuisine in the neighborhood and SW ranked its potent fruit punch one of the best rum-infused summer beverages in the city.
