R.I.P. Brasa.Beloved Spanish-French bistro Brasa in Belltown has closed after more than a decade of business, according to The Seattle Times. Co-owners Tamara Murphy and Bryan Hill say that they decided to pursue other opportunities once the lease on their space ended. You can expect a quick turnaround on at least some of those opportunities. Murphy plans to open a second Elliott Bay Cafe on Capitol Hill within the next few weeks, and is in the process of creating her new restaurant Terra Plata at the neighborhood’s Melrose Project. Her first book, Tender, is also scheduled to be released this summer.
