Wallingford’s new food truck serves BBQ and comford food.

First off, in Belltown, The Mercantile at Local 360 at 111 Bell St. has closed after a mere six months, citing an insufficient amount of business.

On Capitol Hill,Thai pop-up restaurant Little Uncle – formerly known as Shophouse – is opening a permanent take-out shop at 1509 E. Madison Ave. next month.

In the Central District, Beehive Bakery at 1400 23rd Ave. has closed.

In Eastlake, Ship Canal Grill is scheduled to open where Kristos once stood at 3218 Eastlake Ave. this Friday. The nautical-themed restaurant and bar will serve Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine and local draft beer.

In Fremont, Bluebird Microcreamery is opening its third shop at 3515 Fremont Ave. N. this Friday. In addition, the artisan ice cream shop will be operating a nano-brewery on premises, making hand-crafted ales for — what else? — beer floats.

Over in Ravenna, Heidelberg Haus is now open at 2112 N.E. 65th Street in Ravenna. The restaurant features authentic German cuisine made from scratch using local and German sources, including dumpling, potato pancakes, and spatzle.

In Rainier Valley, Rookies Sports Bar and Grill is now open in the former Kallaloo Caribbean space at 3820 S. Ferdinand St. #101. The family-friendly sports bar features standard American fair, including burgers and steaks, plus a kid’s menu.

Lastly, in Wallingford, a new food truck is open at 210 N.E. 45Th St. Pinky’s Kitchen is a food truck featuring barbeque and comfort food, including boneless rib sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, and mac n’ cheese.
