Pike Street Fish Fry is complementing their main course with free fries

Pike Street Fish Fry is complementing their main course with free fries on the first Friday of every month from 3 to 6 p.m. And you don’t even need to buy a beverage! But who could resist the temptation that a $1 Hamm’s brings you (but only for an hour starting at 3 p.m.) You can also get pints for $2 and wells for $3 during happy hour at Moe Bar. Drink up!

The Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reports that Lost Lake/Comet/Big Mario’s owner and $15-an-hour minimum-wage proponent Dave Meinert and team are the lucky winners of the bidding process to take over the former Kingfish Cafe space on 19th Avenue East and East Mercer Street. The report states that plans are in the works to open the yet-unnamed space as a family-style Italian joint with a full cocktail bar to boot, with a target opening date of June.

Citizens of Seattle and people of the land, you will have easy access to fresh produce and meat this summer courtesy of the Pike Place Farmers Markets. From June 16 through October 2, the pop-up markets will appear at five locations across the city: City Hall, Pioneer Square, South Lake Union, First Hill, and outside the original Market itself. E
