Old-school Italian restaurant Vince’s is closing in Rainier Beach.The 1957-born Seattle fixture Vince’s at 8824 Renton Ave. S. in Rainier Beach is closing at the end of March, according to The Seattle Times. Owner Vince Mottola Jr. cites the economy and high overhead as reasons, but hopes to relocate elsewhere in the neighborhood in the future. In the meantime, longtime fans can still dine at the beloved restaurant’s Burien, Renton, and Federal Way locations.In other news, a new eatery has taken over the former Noodle Ranch space at 2228 Second Ave. in Belltown. Dope Burger features twice-ground, hand-packed patties and house-made milkshakes. You can check out the complete menu here.
