Miller’s one second “High Life!” ad stole all the teeny, tiny thunder from Ivar’s yesterday, in a sea of really, truly, awfully crappy commercials. Granted, what can you do in 0.5 seconds but shout your name and flash your logo? Nothing, I guess. Miller just did it better. And I still want to know why that Aflac duck was in the Ivar’s ad…If you missed it, you can watch (glance?) the ad on the Ivar’s website and enter your email for a half-off entree coupon (restrictions apply). Beating the half-off entree offer from Ivar’s, Denny’s aired its own ad during the game declaring: “This Tuesday from 6am to 2pm, Denny’s is giving a free Grand Slam to everyone in America.” (Just don’t rely on Google for locations. Most of the Seattle listings are shuttered.)
