P.F. Chang’s China Bistro This new Westlake Shopping Center installment beats your average mall chain by a long shot. Service is efficient and prices are reasonable for the portions—you’ll probably take some home with you if you order an appetizer and an entrée. The vegetable-tofu lettuce wraps ($6.75) are nutty and flavorful. Your server will come by and make you a special sauce, patiently explaining the process so you can make more to your taste as the meal progresses (at a mall chain!). Spring rolls ($3.50 for two) are hot and fresh and offer more color and texture than the expected wilty lettuce as they include mushrooms, carrots, and purple cabbage. Ginger chicken ($10.95) and Ma Po tofu ($6.95) are both served on a big bed of broccoli cooked just right, plus guests get a choice of white or brown rice with their meal. Order a pot of tea ($2.50), check out the surprisingly large wine list, or try one of the Asian beers and specialty drinks. For lunch at Westlake, this place sure beats the food court. 400 Pine St, 206-393-0070. DOWNTOWN
