Looks like West Seattle is the popular neighborhood for this week’s roundup…

According to the neighborhood’s blog, the Morgan Junction Tully’s will close next month. Tully’s marketing VP Scott Earle explained that the decision to close up came down to location, location, location–and the California/Fauntleroy intersection just wasn’t working out. Earle is currently looking for other locations that could merit success like their other store on Alki. In the meantime, those wanting to enjoy their coffee on the way to work have until March 28th.

Here’s a tribute to the finger food lovers out there–Wing Dome will soon be part of the neighborhood, occupying part of what use to be CAPERS at the Junction. The West Seattle blog was the first to find out that the lease had been officially signed by the Dome’s parent company, Consolidated Restaurants. The new location will be the fourth Dome spot, with the others residing in Greenwood, Kirkland, and Kent.

Queen Anne is certainly becoming the newest gourmet pizza stop–already, the hill has Via Tribunali and Sezoni competing against one another. Now, it appears that the newest contender will be Zaw Artisan Pizza that plans to open the end of March according to the Queen Anne View.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars this week as well for these two updates: The My Ballard blog reported that Little Caesars (9776 Holman Rd .) will be opening today. Also, Central District News confirmed Cortona Cafe will be serving liquor on Friday for the first time.
