Join the Red Robin eClub, get a free burger on your birthday.Being the cheapskate that I am, I made it a mission to get the most bang for my birthday buck earlier this week. So I visited Todai for a free all-you-can-eat sushi lunch and Baskin Robbins for a complimentary scoop of ice cream. Turns out, there are dozens of other spots I could’ve hit up for birthday goodies as well. California Pizza Kitchen, Hard Rock Cafe, P.F. Chang’s, Red Robin… the list goes on. This website, aptly titled Mr. Cheap Stuff, boasts an impressive compilation of all the restaurants in the nation (and some specific to state) that give away free food, dessert, and drinks on their customers’ birthdays. And there are A LOT. It’s worth noting that the big chain restaurants usually require you to register on their website so that they can e-mail you pesky promotions in addition to a birthday coupon. That my friend, is why we have spam filters. What are you waiting for? Go and get your (free!) grub on.
