This Sunday is the first ever Seattle Luxury Chocolate Salon, a convention of all things haute chocolate. The tastings cover local sweets, organic candies, and artisanal wares from across the continent. Vendors include local favorites Theo and Fiori Chocolatiers, as well as lesser-known purveyors a little farther afield such as Amano Chocolates and Poco Dolce (hailing from the Bay Area and purported to be rather tasty). And (shameless plug alert) the tasting panel features Weekly writers Maggie Dutton and Julien Perry, as well as Orangette’s Molly Wizenberg. A. K. Crump, founder of ChocolateTelevision, signs copies of his book, The Chocolate Guide. And, if wall-to-wall chocolate is not enough for you, there will be wine tastings as well.
