Capitol Hill’s much-anticipated Chophouse Row project had a soft opening on May 1. In better news for Mother Earth, Taylor Shellfish shelved their plans to spray neurotoxins over their oyster beds in Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor. The Seattle Times reported on Friday that the farm will no longer support the use of the pesticide imidacloprid. Overwhelming public outcry against the plan was generated last week, with local chefs Renee Erickson and Matt Dillon leading the charge. E
