Here’s to Seattle Beer Week! Even diehard beer drinkers can expect to be overwhelmed by Seattle Beer Week, a celebration of the region’s beloved breweries that features over 200 events across the city. Starting on Thursday, May 13, you can embark on a bike tour of the city’s best pubs, sample beer-cheese pairings at Pike Brewery, and gorge at Silver City Brewery’s full pig roast. Other participants include Pyramid Alehouse, The Stumbling Monk, Duck Island, Barking Dog Pub, and Prost. It sounds like a lot of ground to cover, but don’t worry — Beer Week is actually ten days-long. In other feel good news, Via Tribunali will provide its patrons on pedals free margherita pizza and $3 Peroni Beer at one of its five locations, for the next five Wednesdays, from 5 to 7 p.m. The 5@5 campaign, which will donate beer sales to several biking communities, kicks off at the Georgetown pizzeria on May 12. You can get more deets here.
