Good Humor my assOkay, I get that times are tough, right? I understand that everyone’s out there trying to make a buck. But seriously, when ice cream truck drivers are out looking to shank each other over their turf? That’s just nuts. And yet that is exactly what happened in Marysville on Sunday when one Rocket Pop slinger (a dude) allegedly whipped out a steak knife and threatened to stab another purveyor of frosty treats (this one of the female persuasion) if she didn’t step off his territory, like, immediately. This all went down near Smokey Point, in a nice little cul-de-sac, and ended with the ice cream lady bolting the scene, calling the cops, filing charges, and the Not-So-Good-Humor man getting picked up by the police soon after–at which point a knife was found in his truck.I swear to god, I’m not making this up. Don’t believe me? Check out the fine reportage done by the the Daily Herald in Everett for all the details.
