First of all, it’s one of the few wines actually made within Seattle city limits. Second of all, it shows off one of the great vineyards in Washington: Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Most of all, though, the 2010 Red Willow Blend is really delicious! The blend of cabernet franc, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon is both aromatically pretty and substantial on the palate, without being too rich and cloying. It’s eminently drinkable now, and can also be set aside for a few years.
