Fans of zippy, tangy ginger beer will be happy to learn that Rachel Marshall, aka, founder of

Rachel’s Ginger Beer, will be opening a shop in the new 12th Ave Arts building. In addition to the requisite selection of ginger beer, customers will be treated to hand cut fries with up to 20 dipping sauces. Also on tap, ginger beer-based cocktails and ice cream for floats. The venue is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2015. Who knew ginger beer was so versatile?

Good Bar, backed by those folks who brought you Marination Mobile, is finally opening on Nov. 22. Located in a converted bank from 1900 (and around the corner from Pizzeria Gabbiano), the space is the newest in the continuing evolution of the Pioneer Square neighborhood. A full menu includes dishes such as Milk Braised Pork, Ploughman’s Lunch and Sloppy Joe’s while the bar will include a heavy dose of Belgian brews and cocktail concoctions. Get in line!
