Coffee shop – children’s center Twirl Cafe opened this weekend in the Sweetbrier building at 2111 Queen Avenue North, according to Queen Anne View. Twirl offers all-natural, organic sandwiches and snacks, plus coffee. It also has a play area and toys for the tykes. In other news, Magnolia Voice reports that Wheeler Street Kitchen is now serving sandwiches, soups, and salads at 3216 West Wheeler Street. Owner Greg Gambell was previously the chef at the Third Floor Fish Cafe in Kirkland.
