Classic sports bar grub. Last week, we delivered the sad news that revered tavern The Roanoke was losing its lease after 15 years at 2409 10th Avenue East, due to an unaffordable increase in rent. They set out looking for a new location, but now, it seems, they aren’t leaving without a fight. Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reports that The Roanoke has signed an offer to buy the building.
