Bin vivant, the new “vinocentric” restaurant inside the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland that I wrote about last month, is finally open!I got a sneak peak of the place — and its menu — last night. My top picks: pigs-in-a-blanket (grilled char siu pork wrapped in rice paper)…The prosciutto fig open face sandwich with arugula, gorgonzola, and aged balsamic…And the grilled prawn on a mushroom-prawn patty atop a toasted baguette:The patio, which I’m told seats 44, sits right on the shores of Lake Washington. Amazingly, the former Waters restaurant never took advantage of this space, using it as a walkway instead of a seating area. WTF?
