As promised, here’s your weekly update on which restaurants, bars and food trucks have signed on to participate in Seattle Weekly’s 6th Annual Voracious Tasting & Food Awards on April 23rd. Besides Stoneburner, Tom Douglas’s new Cantina Lena, Ba Bar, Matt’s in the Market, La Bodega, Ericka Burke’s new Chop Shop, Radiator Whiskey, Good Bar, Bathtub Gin and The Gerald, we’ve also gotten the green light from Prima Bistro, Cafe Munir, Bastille, Barrio, Poquitos, Cafe Campagne, Pomerol, Harvest Vine, Collections Cafe, Blind Pig Bistro, Green Leaf, Alicia’s Fusion Bistro, Rob Roy, Quality Athletics, Pintxo, LUCID and Pie.

If you’ve never been to the event, here’s the deal: Hundreds of your favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops and food trucks descend upon the beautiful, historic Paramount Theatre for an evening of spectacular feasting and musical entertainment. This year, the event is on April 23rd and tickets are on pre-sale here staring today! Order in the pre-sale window–before March 14th–and you’ll save $5. Trust me, folks, they go fast.

Regular tickets cost $50 and get you all the food and drink you want between 7:30-10 p.m. Or, beat the crowds, and spring for a VIP ticket for $90, which gets you in at 6 p.m.!

Last year was my first year hosting the event, and it really did surpass my expecations. I’m super excited to be there again, present awards, meet as many of you as I can and, of course, eat and drink! See you soon…
